Obsessed with power? Passionate about performance? So are we!

Our Advanced Aftermarket Product engineers are no strangers to the race track. They sit in the driver’s seat. They spend hours under the hood. Their expertise has sparked innovations for racing and performance enthusiasts around the world.

What kind of turbocharger would you build for your high-performance car? The engineers in BorgWarner's Advanced Aftermarket Product group created a wish list of every notable design characteristic. They used materials that had never been combined into an aftermarket turbocharger. EFR delivers quick boost response, powerful performance and reliable durability.

Range of units supporting 225 to 1,100 horsepower per turbocharger

From the first appearance of forced induction motor vehicles at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway® in 1952 to the Mulsanne Straight of Le Mans and the winding roads of Nürburgring, BorgWarner turbochargers have made their mark. And that legacy of excellence is embedded in every genuine BorgWarner turbocharger that we produce today.

BorgWarner’s EFR turbochargers set new world standards in performance, convenient installation and high-tech features:

BorgWarner engineers pair compressors and turbines to maintain optimal flow for the fastest response. In addition, a range of turbine housing A/R’s are available so that you can dial in your desired power range based on your application.

AirWerks is an independent aftermarket program from BorgWarner Turbo Systems. This venture is focused on creating exceptionally high engine performance through forced induction technology. Why do the world’s most prominent auto manufacturers select products from BorgWarner Turbo Systems? Simply put, we are the world leader in turbos for high speed, high temperature gasoline engines

Range of units supporting 120 to 1,875 horsepower per turbocharger

Developed as a joint effort between BorgWarner and GM’s in-house racing program in 2004, AirWerks turbochargers were designed to create reliable and consistent boost for GM’s Pro FWD (front-wheel drive) sport compact racecars.

The AirWerks SX and SX-E incorporate serviceable twin hydrodynamic journal bearings with a high-pressure ratio compressor stage utilizing extended-tip technology and a high-efficiency turbine stage.

Faster spool-up at lower engine speeds. Powerful boost for top-end performance. Innovative extended-tip technology delivers the increased airflow of a larger compressor wheel with the lower mass of a smaller, low-inertia wheel.

Engineered specifically for drag racing, pulling and road racing, AirWerks turbochargers have earned a reputation as robust, brute-force boosting devices.
