Raleigh, North Carolina-The Christmas holiday offers great opportunities to explore farms and agricultural tourism activities across North Carolina. Visitors can find plenty of outdoor experiences from tours, trails, farmers’ markets, farm stalls, Christmas holidays and special events. The following are examples of agrotourism opportunities offered on North Carolina farms this Christmas.
Visitors can download the Visit NC Farms app to find farm experiences in more than 1,500 farms, fisheries and agricultural destinations nearby and across the state. The free app is available here, or you can download it from the app store on your mobile device. You can also find local agritourism farms online on gottobenc.com by clicking on the agritourism list under the "Find Local" link. Visitors should verify the event date, ticket requirements and business hours before departure.
