You may not know that strange objects have been found in the sky on the south coast of Massachusetts for a long time.

Now, before you mention New Bedford Regional Airport, Otis Air Force Base, and Logan flight routes, yes, we know that most reported UFOs are easily unexplainable. But this does not mean that all UFOs can be explained.

In fact, many years ago, I myself found something strange in the sky above the Acushnet River. I drove home after a ghost hunt at Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast in Fall River; it was around 3am on Sunday. As I crossed the eastbound section of I-195 along Coggeshall Street, when the Acushnet River gushed from my left, I happened to see it and saw a strange light hovering high above the water. Mine The first thought was that it was an airplane, even though it was very early in the morning. When I saw it explode in a straight line over Fairhaven, I quickly changed my mind-I guess it flew about two miles in a second-and then turned back over the northern end of New Bedford. A few miles, then broke again and returned to the river, then disappeared far away from sight. The entire duration of my aim is about five seconds, and nothing I know can be moved to such a distance in such a short period of time to perform these operations.

Unidentified flying objects, now also known as UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), have existed in these areas for a long time, and there is no sign of disappearing soon.

We have compiled some of the most interesting reports that have been sent to the National UFO Reporting Center from sightings in and around the South Coast in the past few years. The director of the center Peter Davenport (Peter Davenport) receives reports from ordinary citizens and publishes them in his database; if you have ever witnessed a UFO, then here is the place to report it, as well as mutual UFO Network or the Massachusetts Chapter of MUFON.

In some cases, such as the sightings in Bern on April 11, we must take into account the fact that Space X Starlink satellites were flying over our world at that time, and many reports entering NUFORC thought it was something strange in the sky. thing. Peter Davenport still publishes these reports, but it must be noted that they are likely to be Starlink, especially based on the description of a cluster of lights moving in unison.

Middleboro seems to be a hot spot, but there have been multiple sightings in New Bedford and Fall River. But of course, who can forget the long history of Dartmouth’s encounter with UFOs, especially at Colonel Green’s mansion in Yuanshan?

Check out our recent list of sightings and remember to keep an eye on the sky tonight.
